Students gain knowledge and understanding of the medico-legal, professional and ethical principles relating to medical scientists, with an appreciation of all elements of a ISO/IEC 17025 Quality the Standard. Knowledge and understanding is developed specifically relating to the laboratory's quality system, quality control and continuing quality improvement programs.
